Wake County Public High School Driver Education

· Students, you must turn in a Registration Form for the Lead Teacher to assign you to a Class.

· Forms are available at your school front office or Student Services.

· You must turn the completed form back in to register for class.

· You will find a printable form at the bottom of the schedule below.

PLEASE NOTE:

· The Lead Driver Education Teacher at each school assigns Students to class.

· During the school year, it is not possible to select a specific class. You may request a certain month, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to assign you to that class. Information is included under the school name if we hold a Sign-Up Day in addition to a Registration Form.

· When classroom is completed, the Lead Teacher assigns students to a Behind The Wheel Instructor. The Instructor who will be driving with the student calls and sets the driving schedule. It is normally 6 weeks after the class ends before we contact students to schedule Behind The Wheel. This may vary depending on the number of students waiting to drive.

· The Lead Teacher is your contact person for Driver Education at your school.
